Located along East Coast Parkway by East Coast Park in the south-eastern part of Singapore, East Coast Lagoon Food Village is an iconic beachside hawker centre that dates back to the late 1970s–1980s, when street hawkers were relocated into a communal seaside setting. Known for its open-air layout, tropical resort ambience and refreshing sea breezes, it offers a unique dining experience by the coast. The centre houses over 60 stalls serving a wide variety of affordable local favourites, including satay, BBQ seafood, chicken wings, zi char, wanton noodles, satay bee hoon and beef noodles. A favourite haunt for families, cyclists and sports enthusiasts, it is often regarded as one of Singapore’s food paradises, where visitors can enjoy hearty hawker fare alongside scenic park and sea views.
