Xin Long Xing Seafood BBQ

Food was quite good. Had beef fried rice and it was tasty. Beef very tender. Salted egg squid is good! Better than most stalls I’ve tried I would say. Crispy squid rings and saucy salted egg. Pricing wise maybe higher than normal zichar in the heartlands.

I think they have changed ownership. Didn't see the usual uncle and auntie at the stall anymore. The quality of food had dropped, compared to the previous owners. Serving was fast. Price was affordable. Staffs were friendly and helpful.

A bit disappointed with the flower clam beehoon from this stall. The clams are tasteless as though they have been boiled in water for a long time before adding to the beehoon

Try the salted egg squid sotong 3/5 - average.. definitely not the best I ever had in ECP food Village.. credits to the portion.. looked creamy but the butter is too much until cover the salted egg... Salted fish egg fry rice 3/5 - below average.. can't taste the salted fish although got salted fish in cube size.. a good salted egg fry rice must use the original oil (fry salted fish) to fry the rice.. the rice not enough wok.. overall taste plain.. the prawn are fresh but they did not remove the vein.. Chili Clamp 3/5 - taste so so only.. not the best I ever had in food Village.. the sauce aren't great... Average I would say.

Ordered the grilled sambal stingray, potato leaves with sambal and fried mee hoon. Potato leaves were not cooked enough. Watery and no wok hei. Mee hoon was normal. Nothing to shout about. Stingray came 20mins before the other dishes. Resulting in the food being cold when the rest of the food arrive. Not sure what’s us but I wouldn’t come back here again.
