Ah Yu Fried Prawn Noodle

Excited to see a new stall owned by young chaps so I decided to give it a try to support. Really exceeded my expectations! Full of flavour and the Hokkien mee is the wet kind, very well balanced flavours . Should have ordered a large portion cos can’t get enough of this! Will definitely order again.

I was quite excited to see a new fried prawn noodle stall here at this iconic food centre. The presentation and taste exceeded my expectation. Compared to a few others selling similar dish at this food centre, I like this one for its more generous gravy. I would definitely go back for more.

Ah Yu serves a traditional style thin beehoon Fried Hokkien Mee that is full of Wok Hey and infused with good amounts of Unami prawn stock. The semi wet consistency, a little wet, gooey mess of yellow noodle & beehoon goes well with their Spicy Belachan chilli and little bundles of crispy lard. Perfect on a cool breezy evening with the beach and sea just meters away.

if you're looking for hokkien mee (Hkm) in east coast hawker, come here. wet type HKM, wok hei 😚. forget about the other Hkm stalls. really enjoyable every bite. will definitely return!

This is the most Chio HKM lady boss I ever see. Go check it out yourself. HKM is wet version, wok hei is there. Prawns and sotong are fresh too! Store 36 ECP hawker centre.
