With most stores closed on Tuesday, I took a chance on this fried kway teow, and wow, was I pleasantly surprised! The quality, flavor, and incredible moistness of this Singapore fried kway teow were great, and the chili? Absolutely perfect! Since I don't eat cockles, the lady boss was incredibly kind to substitute them with two pretty big prawns for me. Most store just don't care, add a bit of fish cakes will do. Speaking of cockles, for those who do enjoy them, they looked impressively plump—not the tiny ones you have to hunt for! A fantastic find to brighten the day. 👍🏻I WILL BE BACK!

Their starting prices are lower than the other stalls. I tried their fried kwat teow and it was good. The only complaint is that you've to stand at the stall to queue and wait for the lady stall owner to finish cooking your order. CDC vouchers are accepted here.

A very traditional style hokkien mee, thin beehoon, semi-wet, tasty with mild flavour, but very comforting overall. Belachan type chilli with lime bits in it pairs perfectly with the noodle. Good service but may open past noon in the afternoon if weather is very hot. Rest day Wednesday. Closes 10.30 pm. No pork or lard used but it is not halal.

One of the best fried hokkien prawn noodles that I have eaten! My wife remarked that the 3 prawns are quite large for the medium $5 portion. The noodles are also very flavouful having soaked up the prawn broth and gravy. Quite strong umami taste. The chilli is slightly sour and spicy, contrasts well with the noodle broth, pairs well. Must eat, will order again next time!
