There’s usually a queue at this popular cai fan stall in Chinatown Complex Food Centre, but service is fast and efficient so the line moves quickly. Prices are very reasonable — my meals rarely exceed $4 unless I order fish. The dishes have that old-school, home-cooked taste and are not too salty. Great for regular meals, I could easily eat here 2-3 times a week. Highly recommended!

im so glad i decided to join the long queue — this spot truly lives up to its hype! the service was fast, efficient, and the food was absolutely worth it. the variety was impressive and well-cooked. portion sizes were generous and the pricing was very reasonable. even during the peak lunch hour rush, the staff remained friendly and organized. highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious, satisfying cai fan that doesn’t disappoint!

Curious & joined the queue. Imo is Over rated. Maybe am fussy had better Cai png elsewhere. Melon was sour , tiny mid wings was cold and not fragrant. 4small tiny mid wings $3! Sweet sour pork not bad. China woman was rude and can’t understand simple English. I prefer the other cai png near popiah stall & staircase.

Randomly walked through Smith Street Food Centre and chanced upon this Cantonese economical rice stall. First thing I noticed was the long queue and decided to join on in the queue. The queue moved pretty fast, in no time it was my turn to order. The variety of dishes is huge but not as hug as your typical cai png stall. Picked 4 items, fried meatball, vegetables, onion egg and the stuff bittergourd. Paid SGD$4.20 for my meal. Enjoyed the food and glad that they have this fried meatball which was an very old school dish that you hardly can find outside. I would definitely visit again.

Had my lunch at Ye Ji Cooked Food and really liked the homely vibe of the dishes. The lady boss is friendly, making the visit a pleasant experience. If you’re planning to go, get there early to avoid the queue!
