Indeed the laksa was pretty good as suggested by the thumbs-up on the picture at the stall front. I told him that I would need to take pictures for posting on social media and he rearranged the ingredients with a small pair of tongs before scooping the laksa gravy over the thick beehoon. I like the laksa gravy and will come by to try their other dishes. Fishball was quite authentic, bouncy and tasty.

The best minced meat fish balls noodles I've ever tasted in Singapore (hawker). Texture of noodles and fish, meat balls are just right. Not too salty. Portion is good for $5. I ordered dry mee kia, added vinegar, and a little chili, perfect! Owner Johnny is friendly too. Looking fwd to patronizing again whenever I'm in the area. Keep up the good work, Johnny!

Ordered BCM, $5. Maybe her heart wasn’t in it coz closing time; she forgot I asked for no liver, so she simply picked it out just before serving it to me. Which meant no replacement ingredients for me. Mee pok was way undercooked, could taste raw dough. Good she included vinegar in the seasoning, but overdosed it. Also, said ‘don’t have’ vermicelli option even though it’s shown as an option. $5 portion is quite small. I suspect won’t satisfy most adults.

I ordered the minced meat noodle (dry). There are a variety of ways in which you can pay, so I used GrabPay and paid $4.50 for it. The portion was okay - a little smaller than expected, but still acceptable. I'm someone who usually orders such noodles with extra vinegar and chilli. The person cooking it followed that directive very well, and the noodles packed a punch. There was enough sauce and the noodles were really flavourful, with the texture being just right! Would recommend this and would come back for more.

I had to add lots of soy sauce to the noodle to salvage the taste. Ordered bigger bowl, but seemed comparable to small portion elsewhere. Taste wise nothing special. Worst thing is the uncle's attitude. Already told him from the beginning I wanted to change fish ball to meat ball, he said okay, so I proceeded to pay. Then when he was making, I saw him throwing fish ball inside the soup and reminded him. He then reluctantly opened a new packet of frozen meatball and told me it might be cold because it's frozen. Turned out he knew, but he did not want to open a new packet of frozen meatball, so he pretended to forget. Sigh.
