Always wanted to try this stall, but previously was not there during the right time. The owner is friendly and usually opens around 1230 pm. Ordered the pork and chicken satay, and the satay sauce came with a dollop of pineapple - yumms. Almost impossible to get that nowadays, and it boosted the taste of the sauce. I preferred the pork satay, which was tasty, crispy yet soft enough from the fat interspersed in between. The chicken pieces were slightly bigger, but also stringier, and more chewy. You can pay via cash or QR code/digital.

This pork satay is grilled to a lovely char with a slight crisp at the edges. The meat is tender with just enough fat to keep it juicy, and the sautéing brings out a rich, smoky aroma. The satay sauce is flavorful and nutty, though slightly on the oily side. However, the rice ketupat was a bit dry and hard, which took away from the full enjoyment of the dish. Still, the satay itself holds up well. Verdict: A solid pork satay—great char and well-balanced flavors, but the dry rice stops it short of being excellent. Best enjoyed fresh off the grill. One of the better one in town !

Visiting this stall on a weekday evening is a treat—the timing helps you avoid the weekend crowd, and the atmosphere feels calm and unhurried. The boss is exceptionally friendly, always greeting customers with a genuine smile that sets the tone for the meal. The menu is simple yet satisfying, offering only pork and chicken satay. Both are grilled to perfection, with smoky charred edges and tender meat inside. The satay pairs beautifully with the classic peanut sauce, which adds a nutty richness without overpowering the meat. What makes the experience stand out is the setting. Sitting at the corner, you can soak in the peaceful surroundings while watching life unfold along Smith Street. The contrast of towering skyscrapers and lush greenery creates a surprisingly serene backdrop, making the meal feel both urban and tranquil.

Satay sauce come with pineapple sauce on top make the sauce rich in flavour. The chicken satay meat quite soft and nice. Pork satay not that oily not bad too.

My favourite place for satay. Recommend both the pork and chicken. The stall owner was friendly and even suggested adding pineapple to one of the satay sauces so I could try the difference.
