Though 1 man show, but queue moving fast. Kangkung balacan not bad. Seafood hor fun - prawns not fresh, hor fun is bland. Prawn paste wings are well-maintained and crispy but I think the wings left for too long. It's very salty. Will considering trying the beef hor fun next time, hope the hor fun will taste better.

Tried this under-the-radar stir-fry stall at Chinatown Food Complex. Their $5 beef hor fun came in a generous portion and tasted decent. Though it lacked a bit of wok hei, it was still a satisfying plate overall. Value for money.

Amazing dish! Literally a hawker treasure! I ordered the Black Bean paste bitter gourd fish head dish with add on of rice. You can opt in for stir fry fish instead of fried ones. The fish was so fresh and soft, the bitter gourd too! I asked the the China chef owner to add some black pepper but he declined. Because he really knows his stuff. He said the black pepper (similar to pepper crab style) will oppose the delicate taste of the black bean. And he’s right! He’s such a friendly guy too. Try it today, very rare dishes tastier than what you can find in mall’s food courts! 😋

Quite disappointed with the food after reading great reviews for this stall. The beef hor fun was OK but the hor fun was not flavourful. The beef was good though. The fish head with bitter gourd had a strong smokey flavour but the fish was very fishy. Har cheong kai was too salty although the skin was crispy and the inside tender. The braised pig leg was my favorite dish. The sauce was flavourful and the texture of the sauce was very good and goes especially well with plain white rice. The prices here are very reasonable. It is a one man operation and you will have to wait a while for your food.

A popular cantonese hidden gem with local seniors as the food is great n price reasonable. One man show , so you have to be patient to eat his hot pipping creation as each dish is prepared on order. Worth the wait as one will be rewarded. Signature dishes are black bean beef hor fun/ rice noodles , fish head bee hoon soup , sweet sour fish rice. Long queue during meal time n many take away orders.
