Finding Kook Chinatown is easier than expected - took the stairs up and headed straight on the direction I needed to go, and here I am. Do look out for Block 4 and red tables around you. If you located Table 471, turn around, and you’ll be greeted by lots of cute sheep figurines and a refreshing and distinctive decor from the rest of the stalls. I really enjoyed the great service and great food in this stall. The stall owner, the only one running the whole show, played a great jam to keep the weekend going. Love your music, your friendliness and your smile! Thank you for serving me at my table 😊 Love it so much you’ve got a very handy wet wipe to pick up the juicy rib and jelly-like tendon with minimal fuss, as well as utensils to scoop the soup. I enjoyed the sup kambing. It’s so flavorful and has a kick to my taste buds. The aloo gobi and rice are so fragrant and go so well with the soup. Sup kambing etc is also part of our story in our hawker culture, an intangible cultural heritage. Glad you all are part of our hawker culture 🥰 Love it the cute and friendly aesthetics gives me and hopefully other lunchtime patrons a great flavorful option, besides the usual chicken rice or wanton noodles sorts haha. Variety keeps our intangible cultural heritage alive. Thank you Kook for a great tasting meal beyond the ordinary!

I ordered takeaway so no photos, but the lamb is phenomenally well cooked. The lamb is tender and you can taste the freshness flavor of meat only exists in high quality meats, like a hint of milk. The tendon literally melts in your mouth and it is cooked to the point the tendon’s texture is glutinous, absolutely amazing place for lamb, arguably one of the best I had so far in lamb dishes, if this dish isn’t in hawker center can simply charge over $20 Even their salad is well made, every component in it makes sense The uncle is friendly and very chill person, looking forward to being my colleague to try

delicious meal, exceeding my expectations! the meat was very tender, not gamey and fell off the bone. i will come back next time to try the vegan option! 😊

Soup kambing tasted wholesome and delicious. It resembled pumpkin soup with a style that is more home cooked than those typically found in Indian hawker stalls. Ribs and tendon were tender and soft. Let the friendly boss know if you prefer your soup be served in proper crockeries and not in disposables ones. Be prepared to wait as it was a one-man show. Also, advisable to visit early as it was sold out by 11.30am when I was there. E-payment available.

Friendly owner who clarified the options available for the kambing (lamb) soup - ribs or tendon. I got both for $10, ribs only would be $8.5. There are also spice level options - less, normal or more spicy (i took more) Also got the interesting spiced rice which was $1 It took about 5+ mins to get my order, which was fine as it was individually prepared by the owner The soup leans more towards an indian(?) style, its appearance is quite different from the malay style as it is a light brown hue. It was also thicker/more viscous which is quite unique Flavourful with umami and spices, i sweat a little but gladly and willingly haha Ribs came off the small bones very easily, which was enjoyable. The huge joint tendon on a bone was an extra, it was not bad but i prefer the ribs for the fun Spiced rice had smaller grains but the spice was pleasant and you can taste it, goes well with the soup. A little reminiscent of a simple fried rice in the mouth Kitchen was very clean and nice, very pleasant experience esp in Chinatown Complex Would definitely pop by again to get my lamb fix!
