One of the BEST ban mians around. My go to is 02 dry Mee Hoon Kueh - the noodle texture is so chewy and satisfying because the 大哥prep it right on the spot as you order. They are always so generous with the toppings and the spinach and meat soup that comes with it, is like a whole meal by itself. The couple running the stall - friendliest people ever! I come here at least once a week by now!

I recently tried the Malaysian-style mee hoon kway, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. For just SGD 4.5, the portion is generous and definitely value for money. What I loved most was the crispy, fragrant ikan bilis. They added the perfect crunch and a burst of umami that complemented the smooth, chewy mee hoon kway beautifully. The soup was light yet flavorful, and each spoonful felt comforting and hearty. Overall, it’s a simple dish done exceptionally well — satisfying, affordable, and full of traditional Malaysian flavors. Highly recommended for anyone craving a comforting bowl of handmade noodles!

This is truly a hidden gem! Saw a few office workers ordering this and I decided to try it out. The bosses are very friendly and they make each bowl nicely despite the crowd. At $4.50, the dry ban mian comes with a lot of ingredients. It is also the only stall I know that allows you to choose either spinach or chinese cabbage for your ban mian. Most importantly, the noodles is so tasty without being salty. I will definitely be a regular customer.

After reading all the great and positive reviews, I decided to try today and I was very glad I did. Ding Dang Ban Mian stall is relatively new in this hawker centre, just less than a year. It's a shame I go there very regularly and always land up patronising the same few stalls, not noticing Ding Dang stall at all. I had the ban mian soup today. For $4.50, the portion was extremely generous and filled to be brim of the bowl, with lots of vegetables, ikan bilis, minced pork, etc..... the ban mian was done to perfection, all chewy and firm (not undercooked or anything) like how ban mian should be done. The soup was sweet and flavourful, not too intense like msg has been added. Homemade chilli was great too. It was a homely and comforting meal. On top of that, the stall owners (a couple) were very friendly, genuine and accommodating. Excellent service they provided which you rarely experience in hawker centres anymore. This hawker centre has lots of popular and recommended stalls which people are familiar with and patronise often. With that being said, it's not easy to start a new food business here when most already have specific stalls they patronise. I hope people can give Ding Dang stall a try and support them. I know I wilI and I strongly recommend Ding Dang Ban Mian. FYI this review was written without any prompting or coaxing by anyone. Great food and service need to be commended.
