Canton Steamed Rice

If you’re after a wholesome and satisfying meal, this steamed rice shop is worth a stop. The rice is nicely cooked, the mix of meat and veggies is just right, and the sweet soy sauce ties everything together. Great value for money - and I’ll definitely be back to try more.

Chanced upon this hidden gem at Chinatown Complex and was pleasantly surprised by how good the Cantonese steamed rice was. It has that nostalgic, old home–style taste, with simple yet rich flavours that come together beautifully. For the portion and quality, it’s truly great value for money. Definitely a stall i’ll want to come back to again and again.

Tasty, comforting, and super affordable cantonese steamed rice served by a friendly uncle. We tried the steamed scallions & ginger chicken rice and the steamed beef rice - the chicken was juicy, topped with a generous helping of fragrant scallions and the beef was tender and flavourful. We will definitely be back to try the other dishes.

Pondered upon this stall, and the food was amazing, affordable price less than $5, definitely recommended!
