Found this gem in Chinatown Complex with super satisfying Taiwanese-style breakfast! Everything was freshly made, the purple rice roll is decent and love the texture mix from the rice and fillings! Do come earlier if you can cuz some of the hot selling items get snapped up pretty fast. Will come back again to try other menu

Great Taiwanese-style breakfast at Chinatown Complex! Loved the soft egg pancake and the chewy purple rice roll packed with tasty fillings. The black sesame toast was thick and flavorful. Quick service and good prices. Will definitely be back!

Tucked away in the bustling maze of Chinatown Complex is a humble Taiwanese breakfast stall that’s quietly winning hearts—and appetites. Run by just two dedicated individuals, the pace here is unhurried, so bring a little patience and a big appetite. The menu offers comforting classics like egg crepes, rice rolls, and sandwiches. By 11:00 AM on a Sunday, many popular items—like the purple rice roll and braised pork rice—had already sold out, a clear sign of their cult following. I went for the signature sandwich. While the taste was satisfying, the price leaned toward the premium side. Still, if you're craving something different from the usual hawker fare, this spot delivers a refreshing change with a Taiwanese twist.

We ordered the Ham and Cheese ($5) and Signature Toast ($6.50). The Signature Toast was the better of the two, even though it's essentially just egg, luncheon meat, and something else sandwiched between two slices of toast. First-timers will likely enjoy both the food and the novelty of a Taiwanese breakfast stall in a hawker centre.

A rather uncommon find in hawker centres - Taiwanese breakfast. What we ordered: 🍳 Ham Cheese Egg Omelette ($5): A simple dish that pairs well with the dipping sauces. 🍞 Signature Toast ($6.50): A hearty stack of goodness. 🍙 Purple Rice Roll ($5): Decent, but not quite the same as the ones in Taiwan. Great to have this option to diversify available breakfast options in hawker centres.
