I recently had the pleasure of dining at Xing Ji Rou Cuo Mian, a gem tucked away in the heart of bedok, renowned for its delicious Bak Chor Mee. The enticing aroma of simmering broth and fresh ingredients enveloped me, setting the stage for a delightful culinary experience. Let’s start with the star of the show: the Soup Bak Chor Mee with minced pork and meatballs. The moment I took my first spoonful, I was blown away by the rich flavors and perfectly balanced textures. The noodles were cooked to perfection—springy and firm, mingling beautifully with the flavorful broth. The minced pork added a delightful depth, while the meatballs were tender and juicy, enhancing the overall experience. Each slurp of noodles brought an explosion of taste, complemented perfectly by the subtle warmth of the broth and a hint of black vinegar. To accompany my Bak Chor Mee, I decided to try the carrot cake, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The freshly made carrot cake had an incredible mix of crunchy exterior and soft, fluffy interior. Each bite was a delightful contrast of textures, and the addition of sweet chili sauce elevated the dish, providing a perfect balance of sweetness and spice. Finally, I couldn’t resist ordering the chicken wings. Tender and juicy, these wings were marinated to perfection. The crispy skin and flavorful coating made them incredibly addictive. I found myself reaching for more before I even realized it! The service at Xing Ji Rou Cuo Mian was commendable, with the staff being friendly and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of excellent. The cozy atmosphere, combined with the delicious food, made for a memorable outing. If you're a fan of Asian cuisine or just looking for a comforting bowl of noodles, I highly recommend visiting Xing Ji Rou Cuo Mian. Every dish exuded passion and expertise, and I can’t wait to return for more!

If you come during lunch time, wait us at least 20 25 minutes. This is the soup version which I prefer. The meatball is springy and the soup is good. Noodles qq. The young man taking order is always polite and well mannered.

Very nice Bak Chor Mee—the noodles are al dente and the soup is rich and flavourful. My go-to whenever I’m at Fengshan Bedok 85 Market. Always satisfying!

2025.3.29 The inside stall. Writing this to help myself remember. Noodle is al-dente, more chewy than neighbour. Soup is not salty (good) Pork ball is better than neighbour’s Got beeper to serve noodles. Serves much slower than the neighbour’s stall. Will I order again ? Maybe not. Not very impressed.
