About

Barbecue stall specialising in sambal stingray and other grilled seafood. The sambal here tends to be spicier with pronounced shrimp flavour, and the fresh stingray is grilled over charcoal to impart smokiness. A go-to for chilli-slathered BBQ seafood at supper time.

Not gonna come this stall and eat anymore. Particularly this stall. I don’t owe the lady to anything but I receive all the attitude. Her buzzer more important than getting the right order. Gong gong is super sandy, never wash properly. Seafood fried rice ultimately salty. Garlic butter stingray yucks Garlic naibai don’t even have taste. Goodness disgusting Boycott from now on.

The stingray is so tough and dry, not juicy at all. The texture is like chicken meat. Will avoid this store at all cost.

Decent, but not the best I’ve had With so many stalls offering similar dishes, we decided to try Chan’s. The sambal on the stingray was pretty good, spicy with a nice kick. However, the egg mixed into the sauce of the shell fish was a bit overpowering and made it taste more eggy than sambal-forward. Overall, not bad, but I’ve definitely had better elsewhere.

Like all other reviews have mentioned, their food is not up to standard. Stingray is not fresh, and the portion is so small. The sauce for the Lala is super diluted and each clam has residues of water when you open it up. Most of the clams are empty as well

Think they used unfreshed ingredients. Oysters have those taste while stingray is very dry. I believed they spam alot of chilli to cover the smell. It's bad 😞
