Ordered the dry non spicy version. Noodles are very al dente, but the sauce is alright. The soup is great. Saw alot of people ordering the soup version, will come back and try it.

Long-standing bak chor mee neighbour to Xing Ji, offering both soup and dry versions. The soup is richer and more garlicky, while the dry noodles come tossed with sambal for extra flavour. The stall is part of the famed bak chor mee rivalry unique to Bedok 85.

The best thing is the noodles and broth. Noodles were cooked just right, chewy and tasty. The soup was packed with flavors and I loved that it had a garlicky note. Overall always a good place to slurp down a good bowl of mee.

Tried it as it is famous. Noodles are al dente, imo I would prefer the soup to have more flavour but overall not a bad tasting bowl of noodles

One word. Awesome. Food is great tasting and probably one of the best BCM around. Well worth trying both the dry and soup version. Overall positive experience. Customer service wise, not the best. But we are here in the hawker for food, not restaurant. So don’t blame loh.

2025.3.29 The corner shop. Writing this to help myself remember. Noodle is al-dente. Soup is not salty (good) Pork ball is average. Got beeper to serve noodles. Serves much faster than the inner stall. Will I order again ? Maybe not. Not very impressed.
