Chai Chee Pork Porridge

The availability of buzzers are always a tell tale sign that a stall is good, since it probably requires time to cook and has a well managed queue system in place 😅 Pork porridge for the both of us for dinner, and we thought it was pretty decent! I do enjoy the pork balls more, the pork slices did have some bits that can’t be chewed and had to be removed while eating which I don’t enjoy. Otherwise, the meal was good and I would return for the pork balls again 👍🏻

Ordered the century egg porridge with pork. It’s pretty good. The owner however is very snobbish and arrogant. My buzzer rang so I went to collect my food, he said not ready. After 10mins, I go back and ask again. He just ignored me, I go back and sit. Finally the buzzer rang again. This stall can’t cope with the crowd despite having like 4 staff

Nice comfort porridge, ingredients are tasty & well seasoned. S$4.50 猪肉粥。 Portion of the porridge & bowl base on price is actually small but price is abit steep compared to some good ones out there. The portion is good for elderly folks but not for usual adults. Overall porridge do taste good due to well seasoned ingredients. Would try other varieties when passing by again.

Porridge, served in Cantonese style, ought to be like how it's sold here! Customer service quality aside, this is where one must come for quality porridge. It will be perfect if the stall owners are friendlier and more customer-oriented...

The porridge is like glue. Also quite saltish. I ordered a fish porridge. Other than fish, spring onion and glue-like porridge, nothing else. Waiting time is quite long due to many takeaways. A disappointment. Came here again and ordered a pork porridge this time as I had forgotten I came here before. The porridge is still like glue. No improvement at all. However, I gave 4 star for service cause the owner brought the porridge to my table.😃
