This Satay bee hoon is well balanced with peanut sauces. Ingredients was well worth the $5 portion. It’s not very sweet and has a perfect savory taste. Love their liver and lean meat! Tender and not overly cook! Saw a lot of old folks early queue up and heard most of them say the taste is very authentic from the old times.

So good, so so perfect plate of satay bee hoon. The gravy was nutty, fragrant and smooth. Liver doneness the way I love it, medium. The taupok absorb the gravy well and was soft with correct degree of chew. Even bee hoon was cooked well. Plus reasonable pricing at $4/5 per plate and very friendly lady taking order. Only downside was disposable plate and utensils and very hot food centre. Highly recommended and do come early as the stall is while stock last.

Happened to pass by and was told this is a famous satay beehoon stall. No queue thus decided to order. $5 for this plate over flowing with satay gravy. Portion and ingredients for $5 would say is commendable however satay beehoon without cuttlefish is just something missing and incomplete. The tenderness of sliced pork and tender liver makes up for it fortunately. Gravy has heavy peanut taste and packs punch thats not on sweet side of taste but abit tad salty. Kang kong is pretty fresh, crunchy and not those thats past in prime. Post my meal the queue starts forming.

I am not a big fan of Satay Bee Hoon (rice vermicelli), but seeing this stall always has a long queue, finally I can’t resist the temptation any more to give it a try. For $4, there is insane amount of fresh ingredients - tau pok, tau gay, pork slices and liver, and also kangkong and perfectly cooked bee hoon. What I like in particular is the thick and rich satay sauce that is not oily at all. It gives such a wholesome and satisfying feeling after the meal. An interesting thing to note is that the uncle stops selling roughly slightly after 8pm, even though there are still leftover ingredients. Update: The last time I had this was over two years ago. They recently moved to this new location with a new look. The food is even better in my view and for $5, it is so hearty and satisfying.

I finally got to try the famous satay beehoon stall at Bedok 85 Food Centre after a one-hour queue, arriving at 4:45 PM and only receiving my take away order at 5:45 PM. While the wait was long, the satay beehoon was undeniably delicious. The generous portions and the abundant, flavorful sauce definitely contribute to the popularity of this stall. The satay beehoon itself was well-cooked, with a nice flavor. The combination of the satay sauce, peanuts, and the ingredient was a perfect balance of savory and sweet. However, the long wait time might deter me from queuing again in the future. I observed that the uncle cooks each plate individually, which likely slows down the process significantly. Overall: delicious, but the extended wait time might not be justifiable for every visit.
