Bedok 511 BBQ Wings Soon Lee Heng Satay

Waited quite a while for my order of satay and chicken wings, but the satay was totally worth it. Fragrant, well-portioned, and reasonably priced. The real highlight was the satay sauce, rich with peanuts and just the right amount of spice. The chicken wings, however, were quite average and didn’t stand out. Actually tasted like any other standard offering.

Bedok 511 BBQ Chicken Wing / Soon Lee Heng Satay also does charcoal grilled satay. Available in choice of chicken, pork and mutton meats. Comes served with a satay sauce on the side which is lightly spicy and watery. Would have been much better if the satay sauce is thicker with more intense flavours. Comes served with cucumber slices and onion bits. The chicken satay is tender and soft, with a sweet taste. The pork satay is fairly tender and mildly sweet taste with a couple of fatty pork bits sandwiched in between the lean meat. As for the mutton satay, likewise it is tender with sweet flavourings. This satay would have been much nicer with a little more charring. Not the best around, but still acceptable.

Long queue but very nice bbq chicken wings and satay! I worth waiting. 😍😋🤣😜

The service was great 👍, the young man was so friendly and polite. It was being serve fast as well. Overall I feel the pork satay was ok. Satay sauce was thick.
