Munchi Pancakes

23 Oct 2025, 4.20pm. 3 stars. Well, I can't understand the hype or the 5 star reviews given for this brand. Their min jiang kueh is definitely not the best I've had. I ordered the original red bean $1.60 and there was no queue, no wait. Female staff was quite efficient & responsive to questions. The hardened edges were like eating fortune cookies, which I quite like, but the baked surfaces of the pastry was a bit too hard & chewy. Inner texture was a little bit softer. Overall can be lighter / crispier. Red bean paste was fragrant, a good amount, but could be less sweet. It got a bit jelak as I was finishing the pancake. Noticed that the portion size was a bit smaller for the green tea skins compared to the original & charcoal skins. CDC vouchers accepted for payment. Will only buy if in the vicinity & have a craving.

The filling is overflowing and they can heat up for you! Best ! Value for money

Pancake lover here, but most of the time I can only find the traditional peanut filling. So surprised when I saw this stall! Many choices for both the skin and the filling! I’ve tried the hazelnut and black sesame fillings before, and now I’m back to try the biscoff and peanut! Can someone stop me before I try them all? 😋

Waiting Time: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Staff at this outlet are professional and friendly. They work pretty fast, therefore not much waiting is required during peak hours. They should be commended for their ability managing both walk-in orders and online orders. Despite the busy schedule, they maintained the quality of food sold to customers.
