Had always bought noodles from Mingfa cos it’s quite nice and economical. However, I saw the auntie seller (younger one) digging her ear with her bare hands and then handling the lettuce. I also noticed the plastic cup holders that they used to hold the takeaway plastic bag were all extremely old and mouldy. When they scoop the soup into the takeaway plastic bag, the soup drips from the cup holder and into the soup pot. I think the hygiene of this stall needs to seriously improve. Update: I decided to give it another chance but this time, there’s a hair at the side of the soup compartment! See picture.

Laksa today! Looks really spicy so too out the chilli that was added initially. Laksa is tasty with good traditional taste. A good amount of ingredients comes with the steaming bowl of laksa. Service is quick.

Ordered fishball noodle add on mincemeat but only gave 1 fishball. Asked the stall person if there was a mistake she said no our stall is like that you order fishball noodle you either get 1 or 2 fishball only.

I was happy to discover Ming Fa here, and went for the Signature Noodles. The standard was maintained and I was satisfied with what I had... It's just that stiff competition had been around these days, and the noodles could still improve as there were other better options out there as well.

Below par of Ming Fa’s standards. Should have better QC to maintain consistency . The auntie didn’t know how to blend the sauces . Too much tomato sauce added making it too sour . Should add vinegar and don’t use tomato sauce ? Chilli sauce also not spicy enough . Fish balls were good though a bit saltish .
