One of the best!!! 🤤 The thin crispy toast is right on my taste with the perfect amount of kaya sweetness and ratio of butter. Dipped that into the perfectly cooked poached eggs and it was heavenly🤤 Kopi was also very on point, very fragranced with the right balance of “bittersweet”. And even we are not locals the flavour is still very easily adaptable 👍🏻Also enjoyed the food here with the extra welcoming owner couple who makes it feels like home, will defo recommend!

Had the classic Kaya butter toast with soft boiled eggs. While the toast was decent, the butter portion felt a little stingy- missing that satisfying richness you’d expect. The area’s proximity to fish stalls also affects the overall ambience with noticeable odors. It’s not a spot I’d go out my way for but okay if you’re just nearby and craving something familiar.

After seeing the TikTok video of this stall, me and my friend visited, and oh boy, the stall owners are really friendly!! After hopping around the area trying different toasts with my friend, we still found this homely. Tell me about a stall, any stall where the butter will just slide out of the bread when eating. It is that good. The oatside kopi is also nice too, for those who doesn’t want sugar in their coffee, worth a try!! Watch the video to see the preparation of the toasts by the cheerful stallholders!

Super friendly stall owners, only went a couple of times before they recognized me and I became a regular Love the toast here; they use regular white loaf but they half each slice to make it crispy thin, with Kaya and visible butter in between each slice. Have to emphasize the butter cause it seems like I can never find enough stalls that actually use it. Coffee is great as well. Their grasp of 'siew dai' (less sweet) is super commendable and it's the main reason I frequent all the time now

Everything is super good and to my liking! (1) strength and sweetness of kopi well balanced (2) toast is thin and very crispy, with the cold butter that didn’t melt when it’s served (this is the texture that I like) (3) poach egg with pepper and sweet soy sauce is 🤌🏽 Owner of the restaurant is super nice - he knew we were tourists and kept reminding us not to visit on Sunday because it’s closed😂
