Good stuff... Peanut butter Min Chiang Kueh Two things stood out. The buttery, chewy pancake! And the savory peanut butter and fresh crushed peanut bits. Both goes so well together! One of the best version I have tried. Somehow the aroma reminds me of peanut butter waffle! And it goes so so well with a cup of Nanyang kopi from the nearby kopi stall! Will return again just for this! But mind you, it's one of the last few stalls that still.operate with cash only! Service is transactional by the counter aunty. No frills, smiles or frowns. Just business as usual.

They open very early at 7:30 AM on level 2 of Hong Lim Food Centre. It's a simple stall offering traditional pancakes with 3 to 4 flavors, all priced at $1.20 to $1.40. You can’t choose the edges of the pancake, which some people prefer for their crispiness. I tried the peanut flavor; the pancake was crispy and the peanut filling crunchy, but there wasn't much filling. It felt like I was eating more pancake batter than filling, so it wasn't as amazing as I expected. This place is cash only.

Been a minute since I've had martabak and since we were in SG, Granny's pancake came recommended. Took a bit of hunting to find this stall in the hawker center but the pieces in the display looked delicious. Ordered the peanut butter and red bean and headed back to the hotel which was a mistake as both pieces weren't crispy by the time we ate it. Really enjoyed the peanut butter but would skip the red bean the next time we are back in town.

They only accept cash. I thought the peanut and peanut butter option was unique ($1.40), the pancake is fresh

I bought all the available flavors: red bean, coconut, peanut, and peanut with peanut butter. Except for the last one, which costs $1.40 per piece, the rest are $1.20 each. They are vegetarian-friendly. I tried the peanut and coconut flavors, and they were delicious. Everything is made fresh to order. One thing to note is you can’t choose which side you get as they serve it as it is. Address: 02-39, Hong Lim Food Centre Opening hours: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
