$5.50 mui fan, gravy pour-over style (short cut version) with prawns, fish cake, crab stick & veg. Slightly more expensive than the neighbouring zi char stall run by an elder uncle, who serves actual sliced fish & pork.

My usual Zhi Cha stall when I come to Hong Lim Food Centre. Portion is big and food was deliciously cooked. Price is very reasonable and favorite dishes include fried rice with fried chicken, dried beef hor fun and San Lao Hor fun, etc Closed on Saturday.

Very good value, large portions, but taste can be better. Sgd5.5 for fried rice w chicken cutlet, Sgd6 for beef horfun. So many beef slices, must have been about 8 to 10 slices. Horfun portion is huge. Not much other ingredients though, and a bit too dry, could be wetter. Fried rice very loose and tasty but also not much other ingredients. Chicken cutlet was dry, not fresh, but not tough. Overall an excellent option for those who want a huge portion but don't mind the taste much. Wok hei can be much improved with just a minute or 2 more on the stove. Has a short queue that moves fast on a Friday night at 7pm. Simple and cheap local dinner.

Had dinner here with wife. Ordered the beef hor fun with gravy for $6, and chicken cutlet fried rice for $5.50. Shop accepts CDC vouchers. It's 1 man man show so each dish was cooked separately, but very fast. The sound of the fire led to some expectations of food quality. Food tasted reasonably good, but lacked wok hei. I wonder if the speed of cooking has something to do with it. However, portions were generous, especially the hor fun.

I come here to this humble stall once a while. They are underrated and the office crowds that works around here are the only few that knows how deserving they are. They serve good value Zhi Char meals that have huge portions and the prices are valuable. My personal favourite is the Chicken Cutlet Rice.
