Summary: The quality & taste of food is barely average and lacks wok hei & presentation. Everything was just dump on the plate. The main ingredients were also in small quantity though the price is expensive for a hawker food stall. We paid $70+ for 3 pax and 4 simple dishes. Food Quality: The sweet & sour pork & bitter gourd beef, each costing $18, has small amounts of meat. The fish kailan cost $18 but uses cheap fish slices and not batang. Final dish is braised bean curd with mixed veges, just basic oyster sauce and nothing significant. Service Attitude: The old lady taking orders and collecting money is very bad-mannered. It was my first time there and the last now. I was trying to help by taking some green chilli using the small disposal plastic saucer and a serving spoon (which they did not provide) but was rudely warned not to touch them. Don't know why she's so fierce here? If a zhichar stall cannot afford to let patrons take some green chilli, think it better shut down, esp in Asian countries here. She also seems to be controlling everyone at the stall, from service crew to cooks, etc.... Have to say the service crew does do their job to serve us. But we won't be back.

Repeat customer here for their har cheong chicken bowl. Mix in the sous vide egg and this meal is truly blissful. Appreciate the young lady chef helming the family legacy with hard and hot work behind the stove, producing consistent and delicious flavours day in day out. Tried their beef hor fun too, with detectable wok hey but not enough for me. Would personally prefer the wider zi cha type hor fun if given a choice. My default for a comforting meal at this stall, har cheong chicken rice bowl 😉

4th generation hawker, full of passion! Passed by on my way to run some errands Tried their onion pork rice with deep fried enoki mushroom & Onsen egg. Something new ! Something different! $7.90/bowl .A little expensive. I will stick to spring onions and pork slices with rice plus sunny side up egg ! But rental in the city is crazy! By 3:10 pm sold out !

I walked past the stall multiple times, but it was only after the two stalls I wanted to patronise were closed that I finally gave them a try. Despite being past lunch, the stall still had a steady stream of customers. Based on the conversations I overheard, many are regulars. Thanks to the extensive menu and diverse orders placed by patrons ahead of me, I struggled to make a decision. I finally settled on the spicy braised pork belly bowl ($7) because it had the largest picture on display. I also upgraded the white rice to fried rice for just $1. I waited around 10 minutes for my food as every order was cooked to order, but it was worth it. The platting looks so tantalising with crispy fried enoki garnish, which also added a delightful texture to the dish. At first bite, I was wowed by the wok hei of the fried rice. The pork belly itself was incredibly tender and flavourful, though I prefer a bit more heat. I highly recommend checking them out if you are in the area.

Had the har cheong gai rice bowl. Cost $7 each. The har cheong gai is fried to order, piping hot, crispy and juicy! Great seasoning, the prawn paste flavor is there, without the unpleasant smelly smell. The amount of chicken is also quite alot. However, i dont really fancy the sauce which is like watery version of sweet thai sauce as it dont go well with the rice. Would love to have the usual sambal chilli instead. Also, a sunny side up or fried egg will be more suitable as it could have added more fragrance and the thick yolk to coat the rice. I think i may return to try the spicy braised pork rice or cereal fried rice next time. Also, theres alot of small flies flying around the chilli padi..please pay attention🫠
