Sweet Thai

Wonderful experience of having authentic Thai desert in a hawker centre. Had tried the Mango Sticky Rice which was a stunner, the texture of the mango and rice was unbeatable. The payaya salad Som Tum was another dish you need to go for, there is no need for a reason if you truly know the authentic taste from Thailand. And lastly, we had the sweet potato balls and sticks, was nice and there was no different then those which we eaten in Golden Mile Complex. Overall, need to try for yourself. Will be back again soon

This new stall at Hong Lim is worth a try! Tucked away in a nondescript row that’s hidden behind the famous Heng Kee curry noodles, Sweet Thai can be easy to miss. Ordered the garlic pork rice ($7), and it reminds me of home cooked food, with tender pork slices that doesn’t feel overly greasy. Serving is generous too. I also liked their sweet potato balls (12 pieces for $5), which are light and tasty. Read rave reviews of their mango sticky rice but unfortunately it’s not available today. Will be back to try other dishes next time!

Repeat customer here! The Pad Thai with Prawns I had today made me feel like I am really in Thailand. I speak with conviction when I say that this is the best I have had in Singapore till date. Spice level was just right, noodles are chewy, ingredients are plenty and can tell that only the freshest prawns are used. If you love Thai food, you will love Sweet Thai!

Great, authentic Thai food that is rare to find nowadays! Very nice lady boss as well, gives very generous portions 😄 Had the basil pork rice, everything was cooked very well and could tell meat used was very fresh compared to others I have tried elsewhere. Will definitely be back! 👍
