This place brings back memories of Corona Fried Chicken in Colombo Court which has been demolished. I know Corona’s ex chef opened his own stall and I have eaten there as well but I prefer this place for fried chicken rice.

If you’re looking for phenomenal old school style food at a reasonable price, don’t miss out on nanyang fried chicken. Their food brings me back to the good old days in primary school canteen ordering from the chicken rice stall. A snapshot of memory in time 😃 Service is excellent too!

I saw my friend order 3 plates of wings and the value cutlet meal, so I decided to order the value cutlet meal too. However, I was told they only had the normal cutlet set now, which was $2 more, so I agreed. When I picked up my food, my friend was surprised because earlier he asked to add rice but was told there wasn’t enough rice, yet I was able to get rice with my meal. As for the food, the chicken was not very tasty, and the lava egg was overcooked. Also, no soup was provided with the meal which photo and other review photo have it, which was disappointing.

got the chicken cutlet (7$) for takeaway. found their chicken portion to be rather tiny for the price unfortunately. cannot imagine how little chicken there are for the value cutlet meal :/ rice is fragrant, chili on the tangy side (i do wish its more spicy like the chicken rice chili) you can buy the chicken cutlet ala carte for 5.50$.

The wings tasted good… but the frying technique was bad as the wings were oil-soaked…. And the wings are smaller sized. The stall does not provide paper bags for takeaway wings and charged $0.40 for takeaway wings. Frankly, i think the takeaway packaging cost does not make sense and it should not be used as a revenue generator… With regards to this, I would choose to support other stalls which choose to do business the right way.
