Had the Chicken Curry which came with two pieces of oven baked prata with spring onions. Curry was really rich and delicious, with the right spiciness. Chicken was also delish n the potatoes were really soft. Prata was good becos not greasy like usual fried prata. $9 (excl drink in the photo). Definitely worth a visit

Took me long enough to try Midas Curry. Such is the envy for those who works nearby. Lunch crowd at Hong Lim is always crazy, the CKT queue, Cantonese Delight, Horfun, Tai Hwa etc. On this trip end October, told myself I have to order from Midas. I heard their prata is baked and the curry chicken is cooked individually by servings. Watching Mr Peter work his kitchen is an art, taking orders, baking prata, cooking curry all at once in the efficient space. My prata seems to be of spring onion based even though it looked a little overcooked probably due to how busy that day was. The boneless chicken was tender, there were so many pieces accompanied by potatoes and one whole egg. I don't come to Chinatown often, so trying out a store I haven't tried usually takes months haha.

Midas Chicken Curry is a true hidden gem in Hong Lim hawker centre! The curry was beautifully rich and consistent, with just the right balance of spice and creaminess. The chicken was so soft and tender it practically fell apart. The pita bread was the absolute star of the show, crispy, light, and not oily at all. Honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The uncle running the stall was incredibly kind and friendly too, and you can tell he really takes pride in his food. Absolutely worth seeking out; this might just be the best curry in Singapore! 🍛🔥

The curry was really thick and chicken pieces were very tender. Matches really well with the pastry for dipping. Is nice but personally not really to my preference as i prefer it to have more coconut taste.

Full of flavours with a punch. Lightly spiced end. Given the price with it’s serving. Worth it all. When the nearby curry beehoon ended with hall of fame, the additive flavouring gotten too much for a classic, even compared to about eight years ago which I have tried.
