Tried the Sandakan-style fried pork noodles and really enjoyed it. Noodles were springy and flavourful, with generous portions of crispy fried pork, fried garlic, and greens. Not too greasy and very satisfying. Comes with a light, comforting soup on the side. Good value for money and service was quick. Would come back again 👍

The young man was very pleasant and helpful. Had the Signature Fried Pork Noodle, the Pork Trio Noodle and a standalone Fried Chicken Cutlet. The noodles were very tasty and cooked perfectly. The meats were all on the sweet side for my taste but maybe that’s how it is supposed to be. Otherwise they were well cooked and crispy on the outside. The braised pork belly and ribs were tender and tasty enough. The downside was the fried pork cutlet which was too thin and lacking bite. For me the chicken cutlet was the best of the lot. Nice and thick and crispy on the outside and less sweet than the pork cutlet.

Tried Meijing Sabah Sandakan Fried Pork Noodles at Hong Lim Food Centre and it definitely lives up to its reputation! Their specialty Sabah noodles with deep-fried meat was outstanding — the meat was crispy and flavourful, while the noodles were perfectly springy. Another specialty, the Herbal Mushroom Chicken Feet Noodles, was fantastic — the feet were juicy, soft, and soaked in rich herbal flavour from slow stewing. There can be a queue during lunch, but I didn’t wait long — service was quick and the food was absolutely worth it! A hidden gem for noodle lovers.

noodle springy? pork crispy? none of these reviews that i’ve read describe the bowl of noodle that i was served & cooked by the lady boss on 4 Aug afternoon the noodle is dead & clumpy, one lift of the chopstick can gather the whole bowl of noodle up, it’s that sticky; pork is dry and has some tough bits at the end that’s not chewable; dark sauce is a little oily too, i had indigestion after this meal; the only saving grace is the carrot soup & vinegar green chilli, without these 2 i would have contributed to the numbers for food waste this visit will be my first and last, i rather pay more and queue for the fried chicken dry noodle at Cantonese Delights that’s truly springy & crispy, sorry!

Ordered the fried pork noodles, added braised meat, total to $6.80. Average meal I would say, fried pork has this prawn paste hint to it, once u stir it up with the noodles, it breaks apart and can’t really feel the meat. Braised pork belly is soft and tender, but lacks flavor. Noodles are slightly overcooked and the dark sauce with chili is good enough. Would add more chili if I’m gonna eat again next time. They serve it with a side soup, the soup is flavorful.
