Hong Lim Yong Tau Foo Minced Meat Noodles

Dropped by on Sunday for a late lunch and was happy to find this stall still open. Hong Lim Food Centre was pleasantly quiet—less crowded than usual, which made for a peaceful dining experience (depending on whether you prefer a livelier or calmer vibe). Tried the Yong Tau Foo from this stall and was impressed. The price is reasonable, and the taste did not disappoint. I especially enjoyed the noodles—they were flavorful, and the fishtail was a great touch. The chili was just right—not overpowering, but enough to enhance the overall flavor. Don’t forget to ask for extra toppings like the fried garlic oil—it adds a wonderful aroma and an extra punch of taste.

Noodles with chilli not bad, Yong tao fu fresh tasting, wanton crunchy. Good value meal at $6.50.

It was Sunday so not many stores were opened. This was one of the few that were available. Tried their fish ball soup and was not disappointed. The fishballs were very bouncy if you know what I mean. The soup was clear and not very salty. I could actually finish the whole bowl without drinking water. I could only imagin the other items on the menu must be good too.

just had my breakfast here, ordered the curry noodles (no.3) and it was absolutely delicious! the curry base is so flavourful and creamy, noodles were cooked perfectly and the fish cakes/balls were different textures ranging from soft and bouncy to firm and bitey.

The overall taste authentic..do remember to add some foc fried ikans into your soup..heavenly.. the noodles is just nice ... oldies feel..
