Hoe Lee Prawn Mee Bak Kut Mee

Ordered the dry version ($4.50). The soup had that familiar old-school prawn flavour—comforting and nostalgic. The noodles were a bit too firm for my liking, and the sauce could’ve been stronger. Overall, it was an okay bowl of prawn noodles.

Maybe due to partial loss of voice, my order came out wrong but nevertheless the prawn noodles are great for a big portion of 5.50. Do request for Pork lard if the auntie cook forget.

18/Aug/2025 (3½ ⭐) Had prawn noodle dry ($4.50) for breakfast, was normal, on the lighter note for me. Portion served was reasonably generous. I'll be back to try their soup version.

Had both the dry version with mee kia & the soup version with kway teow - both were delicious. The dry noodles were springy & well-coated in a savoury sauce with bits of pork lard for that classic old-school flavour. The soup version had a light, comforting broth with fresh prawns & tender pork slices. Not overly rich, but very satisfying. A solid, nostalgic bowl of prawn noodles - familiar & hearty.

Lovely and delicious prawn mee that reminds me of the 70s traditional taste and style. Soup is subtly sweet and flavourful. Highly recommended.
