delicious BCM! our first meal after landing in Singapore, made our way to Hong Lim Food Centre and decided to give this stall give it a go after reading the reviews. we queued for a good 30 mins despite only having less than 6-8 people ahead of us. we noticed the stall owner is making one bowl individually, hence the long waiting time. the queue system is great. the second person asked for our order, proceed to make payment via QR and showed it to him. the owners are really helpful and friendly. the dish was delicious. we ordered the $7 and $9 dried version with the thicker noodles. the noodles was fresh and springy, has a good bite and bounce to it while also enjoying the delicious sauce topped with pork lard. this stall is very generous with the toppings, albeit a little pricier than most places, it felt deserving of the price tag. the noodles has a good spice note to it (requested for spicy) and it was delicious. sliced pork tasted fresh, meatball was nice and springy, the wonton however lacked seasoning but just a minor issue really. overall, just be prepared to wait - it is worth your time.

Waited 40min for $6 dry meepok pork noodle. Do not mix noodle with soup. Pro Taste of noodles. But noodle is annoying they don't cut it so all the strand are soooo long. Pork ball very flavorful and none of the horny pig taste. Pork soup. If you like pork intestinal soup this will be right up your alley. Cons Long noodles Slice pork. Tough very bad meat. Wanton, lack taste. Harmony. If you read carefully most of 1 or 2 star reviews came from the wet version. They just don't work well together. Liver. Actually this is average. Price. Actually it is very little for $6. Not worth the wait. 40min I expect better.

Had it on Sunday morning. Small 3 persons queue. Noodle cooked to just right, not overly soggy nor too springy. Sauce was too vinegary for my liking. Pieces of dried ti-po added to the Teochew-ness of the noodles. Starting at $7 is a bit steep for bowl of noodles though.

One of the must visit in Singapore. Love their noodles both dry and soup. The portion is generous, the broth is thick, the meatballs is good, mixed together with other ingredients. One need to be improved is the serving preparation which the owner cooked one by one to maintain the quality of the food. Impact is, eventhough the queue is only a little, waiting time can be more than 30 mins.
