The original curry chicken noodle that I have had for more than 20 years! The young chap must be the 3rd generation running the stall. The tender flavourful chicken is soul food! Heng Kee’s chicken curry noodles should be designated one of our national dishes. The queue can be quite long especially during weekdays with the office crowd.. so I prefer to go around 1.30pm where you then queue about 15 - 20 minutes ‘only’.

I recently visited Heng Kee Curry Chicken Noodle at Hong Lim Food Centre, and it truly lived up to its reputation. The curry broth is rich, fragrant, and full of depth, with just the right balance of spice and coconut cream. It’s the kind of curry that warms you up instantly and makes you want to finish every drop. The chicken was tender and well-cooked, with generous portions that go really well with the thick bee hoon or yellow noodles. What I really like is how the curry isn’t overly oily, yet still packs a punch of flavor. The tau pok (beancurd puffs) soak up the curry beautifully, and every bite bursts with flavor. Queue can be long during peak hours, but it’s worth the wait because you can tell a lot of heart goes into preparing each bowl. Overall, Heng Kee is a must-try for curry noodle lovers. It’s comforting, hearty, and one of the best traditional curry chicken noodles you can find in Singapore. Highly recommended!

We are regulars here. It’s so good that we travel all the way from Jurong West to Hong Lim to eat this original curry chicken noodles with the old taste. We always order the biggest bowl and add $2 taupok. We usually take beehoon mee coz the beehoon will soak up the gravy. & yes always need tapao for boys for them to eat as dinner. They can separate the gravy. Best !

Came away quite disappointed after trying this stall’s Michelin recommended curry chicken noodles. Service was slow — only about eight people in the queue but the wait took more than 40 minutes. Prepare to be scolded if scoop chilli into bowl instead of saucer. The curry broth was lukewarm and the chicken wasn’t tender. $7 for small bowl. This will likely be my first and last visit.

Visit here because of the Michelin review ... mininum $6.50 per dish for the curry mee... Need to walk a bit around 5 to 10 minutes if you come from mrt The value is good. It taste good for me after add a lots of the chilis paste. However the soup is too little for me lah... Anyway my friend and me prefer the curry mee in Bedok Hawker center. 😆
