Got a proper queue on a weekday lunch time (1230pm or so). I'll imagine that this would be proper good stuff, given all the good options at Hong Lim. But it disappointed (could tell from the picture even). The standard/ level was far from the 'trendy' FHKM all over the island these 2 years, helmed by young hawkers. The noodles v beehoon proportion seems wrong, no wok hey as expected, and the taste profile weren't great.. and I wasn't even sure if the sambal chilli helped or made it worse. If you look at the stall set up, you'll figure that they are not even optimized, eg. having a mountain of prawns on a flat plate is not a great idea, it's hard to pile up and they drop off easy. No, not impressed.

Decent food with very little fanfare online. I feel yellow noodles are too thick but the good thing is the yellow noodles taste is absent. If it's thinner with more bee hoon, it may go down better. Chilli is sweet and spicy and might be too sweet for some. 2 big prawns for the 1 size 6 bucks which means it's not cheap. Pork lard is a bit stale with the kind of taste you get from oil you use too much.

Portion is good and all ingredients in HKM are there. The 2 large prawns are a plus. Unfortunately, the taste is not there. It is more fried noodles than HKM. As fried noodles, it is still below average. The first taste of the noodles is saltiness. The provided chilli is also not suitable.

This stall operate by an elderly couple. Called themselves Cuppage, must be an famous old traditional foods from Cuppage road. Their food portion was really big, lady customers might not able to finish it, even I take away, the container is 95% filled up, wow, it alots. Honestly, their Hokkien Prawns Noodle was delicious, two big size prawns and few slices of pork meats. No sotong but have a lots of eggs. Noodle was on dry type, not so wet like others. Chili sambal was just okay. Overall taste was quite delicious and very eggy. I do recommend this stall if you craving for Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodle, due to no others food stall selling the same foods. This stall will definitely appreciate by many customers. 💥 Welcome to my food sharing Instagram: jkgourmets. 欢迎游览我的美食IG: jkgourmets

Wet style. Color looked rich in flavour but absolutely not. Not much of prawn taste. Definitely can't tell it's hokkien mee if it's a blind tasting. Chilli doesn't go well with it.
