Ai Chi Mian Fen Guo

The Mee Hoon Kueh here was very Q and the banmian was similar to a tagliatelle, very delicious! The uncle and aunty manning the stall are also incredibly friendly. Come early to get their prawn paste as it sells out at around 1pm.

After walking around the hawker centre, I decided on this stall & as the queue was short. Ordered the spicy dry U Mian after going through the menu. No soup provided for their dry version. The noodles were fine with a bite. Chili were lack of the kick, quite mild imo. Generally the portion was average, if u wanted something light, can consider this. My bowl consisted of 1 imitation crab stick that sliced into halves. Several meatballs & couple stalk of greens. The sauce was lil sweet, I believed it was frm the dark sauce, that perhaps had toned down the spice of the chili even I asked for more. Probably would prefer something more savoury. I also noticed no substitute of ingredients stated, although u could top up extra ingredients. Prices were indicated on the list.

Just discovered this stall and the mee hoon kueh was really nice and chewy, owner was very friendly too. Sad to see that they are closing soon but glad I managed to try it and wishing yall all the best and good health 🙏

Ordered prawn paste ban mian dry ($5.50). They don’t provide soup for dry noodles and the prawn paste turned out to be imitation crabstick. Noodles are nice and chewy though, chilli sauce is flavourful

I love the ban mian shop… I eat it everytime I go to Hong Lim. So sad that it closed. Where did they move to?
