New Whampoa Fried Kway Teow Fried Oyster

Have been buying the fried oyster from this stall. It’s really good. The oysters are coated with crispy egg batter. I love the chewy texture that the starch gives. The contrast between the crispiness and the chewiness gives a satisfying mix of texture in the mouth. The tangy Chili sauce adds flavours to the dish.

Not too bad - A bit oily; And spicy ; But I like the way he pre fried the Chinese sausage and Then sprinkled it on top as a condiment versus frying it into the kway teow. Like bacon bits!👍🏽

Well not bad for a grumpy looking uncle, the Fried Kway Teow / Fried Kway Tiao was not bad, it is one of those cooked with cockles, so this is one of those places to get those old school style taste, but seems like based on the reviews, I guess it would definitely depend on the Uncle’s mood

This is the best fried oyster item I have taken, better than many others that are more well-known like the ones at Toa Payoh, Circuit Road... It is best eaten there than to buy and eat at home. Remember to remind uncle u want it crispy if that is the way u like. So, it really depends on who fry it! Sadly, on 1st June, it was fried by a lady, and it wasn't good at all. It was lumpy and tasted flat.

Consistently delicious black carrot cake. One of the best carrot cakes I have ever had. I have ordered from this store a few times. Uncle who does the frying may look fierce but his food has never disappointed.
