Sheng Ji Soya Sauce Chicken Rice/Noodle

Probably one of the best soya sauce chicken I have had this year 2025. The chicken, soft and tender. The gravy on top is really good when it comes to the noodle. It is the Hong Kong style low alkaline very QQ and very springy. Love the dry chili. mix it good for a dry noodle, but for the soy chicken chilli it’s very good. The soup is tasty they give you one extra stream dumpling, less generous plus order this is at five dollars really a bargain. Very good deal.

My all time favourite soya sauce chicken stall. Soya sauce chicken is fresh and meat are tender. Well pounded vegetables. Noodles are well cooked, with no alkaline taste. Mixing their sauce, chilli paste with a touch of pork lard enhance the noodles flavour. Add $2 for a dumpling soup. Dumplings filling are well marinated with shirmp and crunchy water chestnuts. Tasty aromatic soup. Their braised chicken legs are not to be missed. Well braised with mushrooms and great texture. Friendly stall owner. Reasonable price. Highly recommended! 😋

Our regular stall for soya sauce chicken. Dun judge it with those common ones in Chinatown. This stall sauces are better quality and dun mask with the rose scent. The noddles are very Q, perfect match with chicken. Remember to add the dumplings soup.

Have been patronising this stall for years, since it was $3 per bowl. The noodles bath in their gravy mix continues to draw me back each time.

great hidden gem food. soy chicken well cooked which soft and savoury. i like the dumpling soup as well.
