Decent ginger soup with dumpling, though i would have preferred for it to be a bit more gingery - definitely not too spicy for those who are afraid of ginger. Dumplings carried the dish though, both the black sesame and peanuts ones were good.

Tried the signature 8 Treasures Ice dessert for $3.80, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to its name. The ingredients looked promising — a generous mix of toppings over & under shaved ice — but the overall flavour was bland. The syrup was barely noticeable & the dessert lacked the richness or balance that makes a good bowl of 8 Treasures refreshing & satisfying. It felt more like a cold bowl of textures than something thoughtfully composed.

Got an ice kachang (ais kacang). An impulse buy. Pretty standard, didn't check this before buying so didn't have an expectation at all. Wanted it for after eating my chili ban mian, so it served its purpose. No lines at around 8:30pm Sunday, so wait needed and there were plenty of spades around. ✌🏻

House of Dessert, also known as 驰名甜品之家, is a popular dessert spot known for its traditional Chinese sweet treats. Their menu offers a wide variety of classic hot and cold desserts, from comforting bowls of herbal jelly and red bean soup to refreshing mango sago and shaved ice. The shop uses fresh ingredients, rich in variety, and traditional recipes that evoke nostalgia. The desserts are very refreshing and not overly sweet, making them enjoyable for those who prefer balanced flavors. The portion sizes are generous, and the pricing is very reasonable. The quality of the desserts is good, and I will definitely return for the rich flavors and interesting varieties. House of Dessert is really worth a visit!

The house signature dessert ain't too bad. Kinda like one of those you'd find in Taiwan. Will help to have some ice shavings to chill the whole serving, especially in this weather. Whereas the mango ice was totally way off mark. "What you see, is what you don't get". What more, for $3. Hits and misses here. Good luck.
