Selling pan-fried and steamed Teochew Kueh for breakfast and brunch. Pan frying gave the skin a crispier texture and enhanced the taste of the kuehs. Must try them out !

Came across this traditional teochew kuey stall. Saw tt their kueys are freshly pan fried in clean oil and decided to order what a splendid decision it was! The nyonya dumplings is huge with lots of ingredients, steamed throughly and served nice and warm The pan fried kueys were probably one of e best I had. The skin was golden brown with a crisp crunch, the skin within was light and chewy like a mochi. If only they had more ingredients it would be perfect 🤩

I have been searching for what I think is the perfect fried Peng Kueh and Sun Kueh and I finally found it. For it to be nice, in addition to quality Peng Kueh and Soon Kueh, it must be pan fried fresh on the spot - so that it is piping hot, and crispy on the outside. If you are a fan of this like me, you have to try this. The traditional Chee Cheong Fun is also soft and good.

Had this for breakfast twice (the google timing is wrong, next time will ask for opening hrs). Sells a variety of Kueh. For those who cannot make up your mind on what to eat (like me 😃), the stall owner has predetermined sets for you. I think the Chui Kueh is good, but when compared to the rest, it became plain jane. Quite dense thou, not the flimsy type. Chee Cheong Fun is smooth, with black sauce. Soon Kueh and the Rice Kueh both tasty, good amount of filling in both. For $3.40, the set is quite worth it. Haven't got a chance to try his dumplings or Rojak yet.

Bought a ku chai Kueh, the filling can be more generous, the skin can be thinner. However, the skin is crispy. Average at best.
