Tong Bee Sugar Cane Juice

​It is my favorite sugar cane juice stall. They specialize almost entirely in freshly pressed sugar cane juice, offering only a few tinned beverages as an afterthought. ​The boss is continuously pressing the canes, which guarantees you'll never get old, oxidized juice. The canes themselves are noticeably fresh and green. ​To top it all off, the staff are very nice. ​You can choose your juice with ice, little ice, or no ice. My favorite way to get it is with little ice. ​Honestly, you can't ask for more.

The sugarcane drink cost $2.20. Very tasty and refreshing on a hot day. Considering how Singapore is very hot these few days, a cup of sugarcane is the perfect drink to chase away the smothering heat. You can also choose the option to add $0.20 more for lemon which will add an additional layer of dimensionality to the otherwise sweet sugarcane drink.
