Long queue, no frills just pure fishball handmade for 5 dollars. They are very proud of their chili concoction and fishball, expects patrons to do the old school standard kwayteow or fat yellow noodles, a meepok or meekia will get frown upon. Noodles portion looked like leftover from your 5 year old bowl, that you a parent should finish in order not to waste. Fishball is indeed handmade but there are better ones out there for it is small and quite salty. Says open till 12nn daily, but we were the last 5 lucky ones who snagged our orders, the next 5 were shooed off, and thats like 1035am on a saturday 🤣

I saw the queue very long and feel curiosity on the food, thus, decided to buy and try. Nothing fantastic, the noodles and fishballs are so so only. Other places fishball noodles are better than this. Not worth to queue for so long, noodles are little for $5.

22 May 2025. I was there early in the morning 9 am and there was already a long queue. An auntie engaged with the customers while a younger man did the cooking. The auntie was friendly even though the business was so good. What stood out was the fish balls which appeared to be hand made. The surface was irregular in texture. Taste wise it was very old school and comforting. The quantity was a bit little though. I think it was priced at 5 sgd. A stranger auntie told me they increased the price from 4 to 5 after the renovation of the food centre in 2025. She said she would boycott this stall for this. However I would still recommend to try it as it was rare to find handmade fish balls these days

Old-School Fishball Noodles Worth Waking Up For This stall serves a nostalgic, old-school style of fishball noodles. The highlight is definitely the fishballs — handmade, not the usual factory-produced kind. They’re bouncy, irregularly shaped, and packed with flavor, clearly made fresh at the stall. I ordered the $6 portion, which came with a generous serving of fishballs. While the noodles themselves were nothing to shout about, the quality of the fishballs more than made up for it. Great for those who appreciate traditional flavors. Just a heads-up: it’s only open in the morning and usually sells out by 11am, so be sure to get there early to avoid disappointment.

Update Sept. 18, 2025 Same price $5 Fish ball still on quality but a bit salty for my taste but good thing the soup is less salty so take the fish ball and drink soup. Inflation has reduced the noodle quantity. The benefit is you get less calories 😜. It's a win-win Their price is fair for the quality Opens only in the morning closes by noon Mondays it's closed Lines will take 10 minutes at least
