Tong Fong Fatt is my go-to stall for a satisfying plate of Hainanese chicken rice whenever I’m in the area. Their chicken is always tender, flavorful, and completely boneless. A $5 portion is just right for one person. They used to serve only steamed chicken, so I’m glad they now offer roasted chicken too—both are delicious. If you love chicken rice, this place is definitely worth a try!

This chicken rice was super nice. A few weeks ago, I came to this food hall and ordered another food to eat. At that time I saw a lot of local people quit and order their chicken rice, and the food looked good. Today I go to Bugis; the only thing is I want to eat this chicken rice. After eating, I was surprised the chicken was so tender and juicy. (I think some people may think it's a bit salty. But for me it's just nice.) The rice also tastes good. The rice is hot enough, soft, and tastes of chicken oil with spices. The prices are really worth it and not expected. A la carte chicken rice (roasted or steamed) is only $4 or $5. If with a set, you only need to add on $1. Overall, I know different people have different tastes. But I still will recommend that if you pass by the Bugis area or Bugis Street, you can try this. #The uncle is very friendly and nice. They maybe will be joking with you. (Not everyone, don't worry.) 1pax = S$5

I don't know why other reviews are so low, but this is the most delicious food I've had in Singapore!!!! Right here at Albert Centre!!!! ahhhhhhh we tried other Hainanese chicken at more expensive restaurants, but I still prefer Tong Fong Fatt!!!!!! YOU. MUST. TRY. THIS. If you're in Singapore!!! For 5 SGD you get a fine portion of chicken rice (see picture). The rice is so - so (there are better ones available) and the boneless chicken is satisfactory (nothing really to complain here). Generally a solid food choice, but there certainly are better ones available.

This is 1 of the worst chicken rice stall i ever visited 5 mins ago. That lady and the man's attitude really rude and i suppose many customers felt it before. Wanted to order 3 packets totalling $20+ but they just tell me,cannot chop despite having 5 half chickens hanging. And their attitude is what trigger me the most. Really a disgrace in their age and service in a tourist area. Not my first time to endure their attitude cos im working opposite. Just that this time really too much.
