Li Fang Porridge

This stall serves hearty, comforting, home-style congee which has a thick and creamy consistency accompanied by crispy fried dough stick. The congee infused with flavours from the dried scallops is topped with fried shallots, spring onions and (add-on) raw egg. These simple ingredients when given a good mix, deliver a balance of flavour and texture that make me yearn for more.

All was fine for me when ordering. Food was done well. Taste was great for me. Youtiao was just nice and crispy which I can dip into the porridge. Also, egg is there. Haha.

Beware of this stall. So dishonest. And i regretted only reading the rest of the reviews after eating it. While the owner replies to the review, it seems like it's just a template answers and there seems no difference made. Ordered century egg porridge with additional egg. When i received the porridge, there's no egg. Even another aunty help me to check so that I can ensure that i am not wrong. I need to queue just to ask her once. And get ignored. We waited again and my husband had to wait until she cleared the queue, and then she said okok will return the money. We were kinda sitting near her stall. If she means to return the money for the egg, she could have done that. NO. She didn't even bother. So disappointing. While the porridge taste ok ish, dont think will ever patron such dishonest business.

The standard drops so much , last time the taste of the porridge was so aroma and ingredients was fresh. Now the porridge is blend the the ingredients has no taste. Not only that the service is so bad.ask if can remove one item, the uncle keeps saying and i say ok he even say i nvr say properly..can skip this if you have better choice.

Owner is very friendly and shares which are the best to have for someone that don't prefer offals. Trying almost everything on the menu and not regretting my choices I always ask for additional you tiao as it's cooked in front of you so you know it's crunchy and it goes so well with the congee. The braised peanuts are awesome too and I am a frequent diner at this hawker.
