A good bowl of SG’s traditional Hakka noodles soup (Bee Hoon/Rice Vermicelli) with different types of meat-cum-tofu-based accompaniments—but unsure if every one had tofu in them though… 😏. Each piece was different to the other, with most deep fried except the 2 what I think were probably fish balls. Came with a baby saucer of 2 sauces: Firstly, a standard sweet sauce that one could easily get at the wet markets or supermarkets. Secondly, an extremely good homemade chilli sauce—garlicky and spicy, good enough to drink. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The Bee Hoon noodles were cooked just right—soft and al dente to the bite. The soup was tasty—I think it is made with truckloads of soya beans, but not piping hot enough and a little too cloudy for my liking. I was glad the vendor replaced it with fresher, hotter soup when I asked… 👍 A very popular stall that holds 2 stall-spaces (rare), with a long Q when I was there, but it moved pretty quickly. Auntie who took my order, and the guys who assembled the different ingredients were extremely friendly. 😀 I wonder how many bowls they sell a day… I will be back when I next return to SG, with a bigger stomach to sample the deep fried chicken wings and more.
