I picked this stall to help shake off last night’s hangover. I chose five pieces of fish cake and some vegetables, all soaked in a rich laksa broth — and of course, I didn’t forget to add the cockles on top. Good way to start a Saturday morning.

Randomly chanced upon this ytf stall inside Albert Food Centre. Walked past this stall a couple of times but tried it this time round. Apart from YTF, they also served laksa over here. Prices for the noodle starts from SGD$3.50 onwards. They have actually quite a spread of ingrediet to choose from. I had the laksa and added on extra SGD$1 worth of cockles. The ingredient and cockles tasted fresh but the laksa gravy seems to be too dilute for my liking. Taste wise, not bad but could be better. Overall, the laksa was okay. nothing special to shout about.

unassuming ytf stall that sells for min $3.50 a bowl. 60cents a piece and i got my ytf fix for $4.10 w yellow noodles. no nonsense stall with simple ingredients and definitely worth the money! thanks to the stall owners for dishing out such delicious bowls at such affordable prices. #ytfnation

The warm feeling you get when you know you're going to have a great breakfast. I get that everytime I get a bowl of noodles here. Makes me feel home.

This stall is like the first stall to start selling at 6 am. All the other stalls are mainly closed, a few getting ready to start. I think the fish ball noodles will be available in some minutes later. The yong tau fu is very simple and traditional. They expect a minimum order of five pieces and with a side noodle at 3.50. if use laksa stock it would be 4.00. add cockles is one more dollar. I got the simple five pieces with bee hoon. Simple and traditional taste of Yong Tau Foo, for people who like the taste plain and simple and not salty. They didn't provide yellow beans toppings though. At early timing of 6 am, the auntie will bring the food to you and ask you to sit down. They accept a variety of QR payment including paylah. The place to go to for paylah usage.
