Yam and Carrot Cake 4/5 Congee 3.5/5 (theirs is silver fish peanut congee as compared to Fatt Kee peanut congee) I prefer Fatt Kee as it tastes better and hotter. Theirs also more expensive than FK

Old school traditional breakfast snacks. All their food make fresh, taste is mild but delicious. Tried their porridge, chee cheong fan, yam cake, pumpkin cake comes with their special concoction reddish chili sauce. Always a queue but move quickly. Recommended. Cheap and good.

Thong Kay Delight at Bugis Albert street hawker centre serves exceptional and delectable food, highly recommended despite the price increase following renovations.

The porridge has a thick consistency and the soft but not mushy peanut added texture to the porridge. I did not taste any yam in the yam cake, I was hoping for some small chunks of yam. It was more like flour. I liked that both items were served hot.

Want a nice Singapore traditional, simple breakfast in a nice market in town? Thong Kay Delight will indeed delight our hearts and tummies. Food prepared from the heart is priceless and this is a must try breakfast joint for all! The queue can get pretty long but their fast service will get you to the front within minutes and… if you are not a patient queue-er, just queue, the food is worth it! Cheap, yummy and at this price point, superb!
