I’m a Jian Bo fan. Thus when I saw there’s one at the queen’s market I decided to order for 10 for afternoon. The set was disappointing as the corners of the Chwee kuek was hard. Something was not right. And when I ordered she asked me whether I want cold or hot ones. I was stunned and replied w hot. And she proceed to take out a big pack of chai por and pour into a metal container. She then added oil. The whole container was not even on heater/warmer. I was really stunned by that action. I hope @jian bo can look into it to ensure food consistency. The only thing good abt this was they provide fork than the usual conventional wooden sticks

I’m a fan of Jian Bo’s shui kueh, but my husband decided to try their chee cheong fun and siew mai. Both were decent, but nothing to shout about, just average.

Youtiao was doubled fried. I believe that it is from the night before as I saw a few packed cooked youtiao near the fryer. The one I bought was oily & hard.

Takeaway. At Albert complex food centre. Disappointed with the quality. The kueh was as hard as rocks — definitely from the previous day. The management needs to look into this quality control issue.

Very tasty and I love the fact that they’re not stingy with the chai poh topping.
