Old school Singapore chinese breakfast. Tried the peanut porridge and chee cheong fun. What elevates the chee cheong fun is their sauces, especially the roasted sesame and chilli. The porridge is the watery kind, not a lot of peanuts, but flavourful. Taste is great but seems expensive for 1.50 as other stalls charge less for the portion size.

Fantastic place and food for a light breakfast. Very straightforward menu. Typical Chinese breakfast food. I really like it that their portions are small. A lot of people (eating alone) can order 2 staples and still easily finish. Porridge is flavourful. The bee hoon is delicious too. Highly recommended. Plenty of seatings in the morning.

This stall had the longest queue in the entire food centre at 7:30am, which piqued my interest enough to give it a try. I bought a porridge ($1.50) and a chee cheong fun ($1.50). The porridge was old-school—thin and traditional, with just peanuts and some dried fishlets. The chee cheong fun came with chili sauce by default, rather than the usual sweet sauce. It was a different flavour profile, but still acceptable. Overall, not quite my kind of food, but don’t let that stop you from trying this popular stall and judging for yourself.

19/September/2025 Had bee hoon mee, chee cheong fun, yam cake & peanut porridge ($7.50) for breakfast, was quite good, old school taste. Service was fast.

The legendary trio set. The queue is there, but moves quite fast. And the reason is simple. Their breakfast is delicious. Serving size is not huge, so that you can try a few items at one go. (You can upgrade for larger portions). The bee hoon is charcoal fried, thus given it's charred and district flavour, only one left in Singapore I guess. Chee Chong fun is smooth and silky. I choose not to have sauce as it is healthier, and I can taste the original taste. Porridge is always pipping hot to warm your morning stomach. Totally worth the queue. $4.50 for the combo.
