This is my go-to chwee kueh stall whenever I'm in the area. Having tried other branches, I think this specific stall offers the best quality. The cakes are soft and have a lovely rice fragrance. The chai poh for this brand has very sweet notes, so it might not appeal to everyone. I really appreciate that they offer smaller portions, such as the two-piece ($1.40) and three-piece ($2.10); it's perfect for those I'm not hungry, I'm just greedy moments.

I was there on 6 dec and ordered for 3 chwee kueh for $2.10. As i do not have $0.10 with me, the operator/auntie was extremely unhappy. To add on, another female customer behind me happen to also order 3 chwee kueh and as she has the exact amount of $2.10, the operator pass the chwee kueh to her instead. I questioned the operator why the person behind me got the food first and she said she paid money already. I am very upset with the whole experience. I also paid usin $5, just not the exact amount, why the discrimination? Also, may i ask why do we need to queue then? If you prefer exact amount, please state that priority will be given to customer with exact change. Given that the food is not fantastic and the lousy experience, i will definitely not patronise the stall again I hope the owner can look into this. Even though this is a hawker centre and i don't expect shopping mall service standard, but at the very least, the operator/auntie should not be rude to customers.

They have the most flavourful pickled radish (cai poh) around. The rice pudding (chwee kueh) is now firmly of the right texture, after the shenanigans around the size of the chwee kueh made it too watery. Just compare the crowd here with the crowd at Jian Bo Tiong Bahru Shui Kueh in the pictures - you won’t believe they’re selling the same thing in the same hawker centre! The only downer is the service - I asked the staff to skim the pickled radish from the top because I wanted it less oily, but got a earful instead. The chwee kueh version of the Soup Nazi! Atmosphere-wise, the crowd makes it lively but the hot air seems to get stuck inside, making this one of the hotter hawker centres around, so choose your poison.

One of the local foods. This is my first time trying it. For me personally, I feel that the taste is just normal and fresh. The kueh was fresh and overall very tender. The sauce for me is just normal. (Different taste type) You can try it as if you have never tried it before. 1 pax can order a small portion ($1.40), which will be enough. 1 pax (2 kueh) = S$1.40

20/10/2025 afternoon tea break here. The operator was very stingy and rude. As we were sharing, I asked for an extra spoon, but the lady operator refused and said I had to pay 10 cents for it. It’s not about the 10 cents — it’s about the poor customer service attitude. Won’t buy from this stall again.
