Best satay stall(stall 22) in Newton hawker Ctr . Helmed by Friendly Rashid- offering mutton satay, chicken satay n prawn baked skewers-I love mutton satay the best-10 sticks for $9.- to me the BEST Malay MUTTON SATAY in town😝- mutton fragrant n slightly chewy n satay kwa or dip is well prepared for satay dip

The star of the skewers are the prawns! Highly recommend. They are plump and juicy. Also got chicken and mutton. They were good with the sauce. Uncle was very kind to me. I was there around opening so not busy at all. I ordered half of set A because I am solo. Would return for a whole plate of those prawn skewers!

"Award-winner. It's not stated on the signboard, but you're not restricted to ordering by the recommended sets (this seems to be a common practice amongst Malay BBQ stalls in general). In fact, ordering Sets A, B, C, D, E doesn't save any money. The set prices are simply the sum of the ala carte prices: Chicken/ Mutton/ Beef Satay 90 cents ea (which is cheaper than other stall's $1, but no pork!!) Prawn Satay $2 ea Min 5 pc (not stated) Otah 90 cents Elder man can be rude and scold if you're standing there trying to decide whether and how many to order. Also, check the total is the stall can make errors in their calculation."

I have had the satay here both as dine in and takeaway. Is really good, but I would caution you to check the math because I do think they try to scam you of a couple sticks each time. 1. Each stick is $0.90 2. The man said that it was 11 sticks and a rice cake $1) 3. I did not want the rice cake 4. He said he would give me 12 sticks 5. At $0.90, it should have been 13 sticks
