One of the best in this part of the world. Last time had it more than a decade ago. Here's what makes this dish special, summarized in a few points: 1. The Texture: It's not a normal omelette. The special starch batter fries up to be crispy on the edges and delightfully gooey and soft in the middle at the same time. 2. The Technique: The unique method of frying a starchy batter first, then adding eggs, is what creates that signature texture. It's more of a savory pancake than a fluffy egg dish. 3. The Oysters: Fresh oysters are added at the very end and cooked for just 30 seconds. This keeps them plump and tender, not rubbery. They give a burst of savory, oceanic flavor. In short, it's special because of the contrast between crispy and gooey textures and the fresh, savory taste of perfectly cooked oysters.

One of the best fried oyster omelette I've eaten by far. This version is the crispy type with lots of eggs. Those who like the soft & gooey type it's not for you. Don't understand why some reviewers gave one star. If you don't know how to appreciate good food then don't bother.

Very arrogant auntie. Just because they have good biz, they are so unfriendly and rude. I was told that they opened at 530pm and when we approached them, the rude auntie refused to acknowledge us and when asked twice on what time they start biz she replied saying at 6ish then biz starts. But when the moment we left, they started biz promptly. Auntie, please la, don’t think because you have good biz, you can be rude. In fact, their standard has dropped and oysters not as fresh as before. There are other nice fried oysters stall around. Auntie, you don’t have to be so stuck up.

Good plate of crispy orh luak with a decent amount of plump oysters. The ratio of oysters to egg-starch mixture is good; starch doesn't dominate as well. Chilli was spicy and tangy. Portion is not the biggest, but at least there's enough oysters. QPR still fairs pretty alright for the taste. My only wish was that they used lard instead of vegetable oil, but I guess that's just how it is these days..

The Oyster Omelette is amazing. I just recommend to take a few precautions: it takes 30-40 minutes to prepare and they only take cash payments. Just prepare in advance, and get ready to enjoy. It is really worth the wait!!
